How does selling a gift card to CardDeals work?

Accepted Answer

Pick your brand and enter the card's current balance to see the locked rate and estimated payout. After you securely submit the card number (and PIN if it has one), complete a one-time identity check and connect a payout account. We then verify the balance and review the card before sending payment.

How much will I get for my gift card?

Accepted Answer

Between 78% and 85% of the verified balance, depending on the brand. The rate shown before submission is locked. If the verified balance is lower than the amount entered, we send you a revised offer to accept or decline. There are no CardDeals service fees.

Question 3

Which gift cards can I sell?

Accepted Answer

We currently buy Nordstrom, Starbucks, Target, DoorDash, The Home Depot, Lowe's, Amazon, Walmart gift cards with balances from $10.00 to $200.00. Have a different brand? Select it in the form and ask us to start buying it. We add brands by demand.

Is selling my gift card to CardDeals safe?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Card details are encrypted at rest, mandatory identity verification (KYC) protects sellers and CardDeals, and CardDeals buys your card directly. Please note that CardDeals will not purchase cards or issue payouts without completed KYC.
