12. Browser Extension Privacy & Security

The free CardDeals Chrome browser extension is designed with a strict privacy-first architecture:

  • Domain Matching Only: The extension inspects the hostname of the active web tab solely to check if a matching gift card discount is available in the CardDeals deal database.
  • No Browsing History Tracking: The extension does not record, log, or store your browsing history or visited URLs.
  • Zero Input / Form Capture: The extension never reads form fields, passwords, search queries, personal credentials, or payment details.
  • No Data Sales: We do not sell, rent, or monetize extension telemetry or user data.

13. Children's Privacy

CardDeals is not intended for users under the age of 16 (or the applicable age of digital consent in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that a child has provided us with personal data, we will take steps to delete it promptly.
