Are discounted REI gift cards guaranteed and safe to use?
Yes. On CardDeals, all REI cards come from verified resale providers (the best rate today is from Card Depot). Each provider pre-verifies the card balance before listing it, and every order is backed by a 45-day to 1-year money-back guarantee.
Can I use a discounted REI gift card for gear and memberships?
In most cases, yes. A REI gift card applies to gear and to any classes or memberships REI sells directly. Recurring memberships may still need a payment method on file once the balance is used up.
Can I buy a REI gift card with Bitcoin or cryptocurrency?
Yes. You can buy REI gift cards using cryptocurrency on CardDeals through our verified partner Bitrefill, with support for Bitcoin (BTC), Lightning Network (LN), Ethereum (ETH), USDT, USDC, Solana (SOL), and Dogecoin (DOGE). CardDeals indexes real-time secondary marketplace discounts alongside instant crypto checkout, so you can compare whether paying with fiat cash discount or cryptocurrency gives you the best deal before you buy.
How quickly do I receive my REI e-gift card?
Digital e-gift card codes are delivered to your email upon purchase (typically within 1 to 5 minutes). You can redeem the code online at rei.com or scan the digital barcode directly from your phone in-store.
How do I check my REI gift card balance?
You can check your remaining balance anytime through REI's official website (rei.com) or by presenting the card number at any official register.
